(a) Junior colleges:

There are about 17 junior colleges in Singapore. These colleges conduct two-year pre-university course, that leading to the Singapore Cambridge GCE ‘A’ Level examination. Students who have passed Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level qualification- equivalent to the SSLC or 10^th standard in India - can enroll in one of the junior colleges in Singapore. Some of the schools in Singapore offer internationally recognized curricula and qualifications as well. Baccalaureate is one of them.

(b) Polytechnics:

Polytechnics in Singapore are very reputed for their market driven and more practical level education at a diploma level. These polytechnics offer three years full time diploma courses that equip its graduates with specialized industry knowledge in a wide range of disciplines.
